EXPERT MINIMALLY-INVASIVE CARE

Dr. Jeff  Lehmen, M.D. is a board-certified spine surgeon and focuses on minimally invasive treatment of degenerative conditions of the lumbar, cervical and thoracic spine with a smaller emphasis on neoplastic, deformity and traumatic conditions.

Dr. Lehmen graduated summa cum laude from the University of Missouri with a Bachelor of Science in medicinal chemistry and received the Top Undergraduate Bachelor of Science Award. Dr. Lehmen received his medical degree from the University of Missouri and achieved his orthopedic surgery residency at the University of Missouri Hospital and Clinics.

He completed a Neurosurgical and Orthopedic Spine Surgery Fellowship at Harvard Medical School in Boston, Massachusetts. He represented Harvard as a traveling surgeon at Peking University Hospital in Beijing, China. He did an additional minimally invasive spine surgery fellowship with the internationally renowned neurosurgeon, Luiz Pimenta, MD, in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Dr. Lehmen has a passion for teaching other surgeons in the United States and across the globe the same minimally invasive techniques he has come to master.

Dr. Lehmen is dedicated to research and has presented at academic meetings around the entire world. He is an executive editor of several peer reviewed spine journals and has written numerous papers and book chapters as lead author.
